Tomales Point
Description: Tomales Point is a coastal hike located in the Point Reyes National Seashore. The trail is actually an Elk preserve, so consider this a wildlife viewing experience on top of a pleasant hike. The trail is flat for the most part, and comfortable for all hikers. The last mile of the trail becomes sandy and as you approach the edge of the peninsula, the wildflowers and brush tend to cover parts of the trail. This is a terrific hike with a great view of the Pacific Ocean and the Tomales Point bay.
