Description: This is a moderate hike, where wildflowers follow along the path of the trail all the way to the top. As you approach the summit the trail becomes cool and windy. Patches of snow can be observed even in the hot summer months of July and August. Round top is an overall pleasant hike, not as tough and crowded as other hikes in the Tahoe region. Dogs will have a good time here.
